Reflections from an English for Specific Purposes lecturer

چکیده

Vad kännetecknar en text av god kvalitet och hur starkt påverkar textens utformning, sammansättning och uppbyggnad ifall en avhandling eller rapport uppfattas som högkvalitativ? Dessa frågor har aktualiserats med anledning av Högskoleverkets utvärderingssystem av utbildningar, som lägger stor vikt vid skriftliga rapporter producerade i samband med examensarbeten. Detta nummer av Lärande i LTH har akademiskt skrivande som tema och innehåller fyra artiklar som diskuterar detta ur flera perspektiv. I två av artiklarna får vi ta del av tankar och reflektioner från personer som arbetar specifikt med skrivande i akademisk miljö, där de bland annat beskriver på vilket sätt de stödjer andra i skrivandeprocessen och organisationen kring detta. En artikel lyfter vikten av att studenten själv får formulera frågeställningen i sitt examensarbete då detta är tydligt kopplat till kvalitén på den slutliga rapporten och ytterligare en ställer den viktiga frågan om vem som tar ansvar för studenternas progression i språkutveckling under utbildningen.
